Instructor: Midori Nakayama

15+ years of experience teaching violin, viola and piano, in both private and group class settings.  She received Master of Music and Professional Studies Diploma from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  Midori was also a chamber music coach at Summer Music West, and a guest instructor at Santa Ana College string ensemble.  The Schools she had appeared as an instructor include; Yamaha Music School (Irvine), ABI Instruments (Anaheim), Serramonte Music Center (Daly City), Melody Academy of Music (Palo Alto), Amabile School of Music (San Francisco), and Grace Notes Music School (Burlingame).  

Midori focuses on teaching a proper posture and set-up of violin especially to the beginning students, and she has developed her own, confident methods to introduce this beautiful instrument to young pupils.
